The C-max's big brother, the S-max, has proven to be a real success for Ford, with its radical new styling direction on the MPV class concept. So it's no surprise that this new version of the C-max should borrow heavily from the styling cues of the S-max.
Externally the C-max now comes with a new sporty nose, boasting a deep reshaped air intake, faired in spotlights, and classy new headlights. At the rear, smart LED tail lights feature, whilst the visual aspect of the car can be embellished further by dipping into the new range of optional alloy wheels.
Inside the C-max has a new dash, orange ambient lighting, compact z-shaped handbrake, MP3 player socket and a dash bottle stowage.
The chassis has an increased rear track which benefits the handling on the C-max, already the best driving compact MPV in its class. And the range of engines has been improved to include petrol/bioethanol and additional diesel choices.
A look at the options list is worthwhile, with new inclusions such as Bluetooth connectivity, a full length panoramic sunroof, and Sony stereos, with an in-dash 6 disc CD Player
